These sessions are taken by a qualified L1 CrossFit Mobility Coach which can be booked at the convenience of the client. In these sessions you will learn how to assess your own mobility issues and be given the tools to fix poor movement patterns or mobility dysfunctions.
For those with injuries or mobility issues that affect your workouts, we will discuss appropriate modifications or scaling to give you a great work out while preventing further harm.
Each session runs for 45 minutes and gives us optimal time to focus on your mobility issue. We thus carry out advanced stretching techniques to prevent the muscles from becoming ‘knotted’ and also to help improve flexibility. In addition we also carry out self-myofascial release, which is a fancy term for self-massage to release muscle tightness or trigger points. These methods can be performed with a foam roller, lacrosse ball, or by our own hands.
One-off Sessions = £55 per session
By applying pressure to specific points on your body you are able to aid in the recovery of muscles and assist in returning them to normal function. After the session you will be given a mobility prescription specific to your needs that you can do in your own time.
Learn how to recover more quickly, resolve old injuries, enjoy greater fitness, and manage and avoid future injury or dysfunction.
If you want to enjoy less painful and more complete movement, you may need to use a variety of treatments, including; manual work (soft tissue and banded joint mobilization), voodoo flossing, activation techniques and/or static stretching.
After your session we will establish a comprehensive plan of action for you to do in your own time to help improve both your motor patterning as well as mobility restrictions.
